Newton Launches High Performance Liquid Waterproofing Membranes

Newton's New Liquid Waterproofing Membranes
Newton Waterproofing Systems is today continuing in its process of constantly improving upon its industry-leading product ranges by introducing two new products within its advanced range of System 100 Liquid Waterproofing Membranes.

Multi-Benefit Waterproof Membranes
Firstly, Newton 103-S is a two-component, polymer-modified, cementitious waterproofing membrane with high adhesion and high chemical resistance, designed for the internal and external waterproofing of concrete and steel elements of water retaining and water-resisting structures.

Secondly, whilst Newton 107F is also a two-component, cementitous waterproofing membrane, its polymer-rich composition enables it to maintain its elastomeric properties, even under immersed conditions. Newton 107F is therefore ideally suited and especially capable where the structure has both masonry and concrete elements, and where differential movement can be expected.

Managing Director Warren Muschialli is keen to emphasise the reasoning behind these particular products: "This duo of new products serves as a great representation of the way in which Newton looks to help its customers. Technically advanced waterproofing membranes such as Newton 103-S and 107F provide specific solutions and a wide-range of potential benefits, as Newton actively seeks to provide our customers with complete product systems, and the knowledge and technical support required in order to apply them."

Real World Performance
This confidence is further reinforced by the real-world performance of both Newton 103-S and 107F in projects where they have been specified. Newton 103-S was installed as a part of extensive renovations to the main fountain at a renowned stately home in Hertfordshire. The newly installed water sculpture by renowned British sculptor Angela Connor, was only made possible by the waterproofing properties of Newton 103-S.

By contrast, Newton 107F was installed as the internal waterproofing membrane in the basement area of Christian Dior's newest and most prestigious flagship outlet in New Bond Street, Central London. With rooms for valuable stock items, as well as changing rooms and staff and shop floor areas, a completely dry internal space is an absolute requirement, and is delivered by Newton 107F.

Product Application Tutorials
Using its excellent range of training facilities at Newton headquarters in Tonbridge, Kent, Newton has also created brand new video tutorials for both 103-S and 107F, explaining in detail the processes required in order to effectively apply both products. Please use the following links in order to view the videos on the individual product pages for 103-S and 107F
